POST 2238

VFW - J Milton Edwards Post

Teamwork ~ Leadership ~ Commitment
As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.

Post 2238 realizes the extreme sacrifices that modern day veterans make in keeping the home front safe and secure. Our intent is to have our post address the interest and needs of these veterans and current military members. The Veterans of Foreign Wars yields significant influence in our state and nationally in legislation and benefit considerations and this must continue for those that have served. Contact us for further information and help us to "upgrade" our post to meet today's veteran needs and continue our ability as a Post to support student, veteran and local public servant programs and aid.

Don't forget to bring a dish to pass!
